How to increase Uni-Business Cooperation
Using Social Media, such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter are considered to be a low-cost Marketing instrument for universities to get in contact with industry. We, from Hochschule Düsseldorf, made good experience with Instagram. We post about events and student projects and try to use the right hashtags in order to get relevant industry interested. Does anybody has any experience with Social Media in the way of contacting relevant business partners and starting future cooperations?

Claudia,
in which way does the industry, at least your experience in Germany, take a look at social media?
Do you think it is more HR or do the R&D personnel looking at it?
@fcpinto Dear Fernando, we have had already a few thesis regarding this topic. More and more producing companies try not to only buzz their sales of products by promoting them on Instagram/Facebook but they also try to attract good employes. To come back to your questions, I think it is interesting for HR but also for R&D together with Marketing and Sales.
I think another option is Linkedin that is a social network more focus on professional networking and career development. I see more posts from companies and academic research in this network. From my understanding, HR departments of companies use this network.
Do you have any experience on Linkedin?
It will be a good idea to promote Ascent on Linkedin? What are your thoughts?
Its a good idea, i dont know exactly how to promote such a project into LinkedIn but i think there are some ways to do that.
Increasing uni-business cooperation can drive innovation and economic growth. By fostering partnerships through internships, workshops, and joint research projects, both entities benefit. Additionally, businesses can support university programs by offering real-world insights. This collaboration is vital—much like how specialized services like tummy tuck Dubai cater to specific needs, enhancing overall value.
